Out & About are passionate about reusing site water as efficiently and effectively as possible. On this site designed by Fresh Landscape Design, the client had ground floor flooding problems and huge amounts of water runoff from the steep driveway.

The clients were both professionals so needed a low maintenance garden, but also somewhere for the kids to explore and play.

Permeable pavers hooked up to stormwater drains were installed into the concrete driveway to pick up water runoff, and a swale in the front yard was used to pick up water and allow it to soak into the surrounding native garden, minimising the need for irrigation.
